Privacy Policy
This page explains what this website does and does not collect, and how I handle information you choose to send me. It is written in plain language.

Who runs this site
Crypto Security Advisor is run by Kwistech, a business based in Alberta, Canada, operated by John Kwisses. Questions about this policy go to privacy@kwistech.ca.
What the website collects
Very little. This is a static website: a set of pages and files with no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms that send anything to me.
- The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
- Every script and style on the site is served from this domain. No third-party code runs on these pages.
- The Mini-Crypto Security Assessment runs entirely in your browser. Your answers and your score are never sent to me or to anyone else, and nothing is stored on your device. When you leave the page, they are gone.
Hosting and delivery logs
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps and delivered through Cloudflare, which also provides the domain's DNS. Like any web host or content network, their infrastructure may record standard technical logs when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Those logs exist to run and protect the service. I do not use them to identify you. Microsoft handles its logs under the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Cloudflare under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
When you email me
If you contact me, I receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. I use that only to reply, to arrange the service you ask about, and to keep the records a business has to keep, such as invoices. Mail to kwistech.ca addresses is hosted by Microsoft 365; the Crypto Security Advisor address on the main page is provided by Proton, which stores it in Switzerland.
When you book a call
Calls are booked through Calendly. When you pick a time, Calendly collects your name, email address and time zone, sends me the booking, and handles it under the Calendly Privacy Notice. I use those details only to hold the call and to follow up on it.
If you become a client
An assessment or consultation involves you telling me about how your crypto is set up. That information is confidential. It is used only to do the work you hired me for, is shared with no one, and is kept only as long as needed to deliver the service, to support a future re-assessment if you want one, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask me to delete engagement records once those obligations no longer apply.
I never ask for, and will not accept, your private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or access to your wallets or accounts. If anyone asks for these while claiming to be me, they are not me.
Who I share information with
I do not sell or rent personal information. The only parties that ever handle it are the service providers I use to run the business, such as email, call scheduling, website hosting and delivery, and only to the extent needed to provide their service. I would disclose information if the law required it.
